Overview

We are looking for a Manager, Technical Services (Retail Malls)

Principal Functions:

-Lead Technical Services team in developing, managing and executing strategies to improve retail mall operations
-Plan capital expenditure works and ensure timely renewal of all term contract.
-Set benchmarks for monitoring performance of key contractors, including regular audits to ensure that expected standards are adhered to
-Resolve incidents, rectify building defects, implement processes and monitor activities in a timely and effective manner.
-Implement asset enhancement initiatives; including preparing scope of work and preliminary cost estimates
-Review building specifications and support Leasing Department by providing the base M&E specifications for existing and reconfigured shop units
-Liaise with authorities, consultants, contractors in managing ad-hoc projects for the mall

Requirements:

-Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or equivalent. A “PE” qualification will be advantageous.
-Minimum 8 years of experience in leading a building operations team in large property companies, preferably in retail malls.
-Good engineering and facilities management experience and strong M&E background. Good knowledge of processes and submissions to various authorities with regards to building works and maintenance.
-Possess strong leadership and able to interact with staff at all levels.
-Possess a high degree of initiative, tactfulness and strategic thinking.
-Possess excellent verbal and written and communication skills. Good network of contacts with both the private and public sectors.
-Proficient with MS Office applications.
